John J. Gilbert 66 of Tiverton, passed away on Sunday. He was the husband of Janice A. (Blaise) Gilbert. Born in Lawrence, Mass., he was the son of Fernande (Couture) Gilbert of Methuen, MA and the late Ovila Gilbert. He had been employed as a Machinist at Raytheon. He had served in the U. S. Navy and was a communicant of Holy Ghost Parish. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son Richard Gilbert and 2 grandsons. He also leaves a brother Donald Gilbert and a sister Charlene Bernardini. He was the brother of the late Richard Gilbert. Visitation FRIDAY 6-8 PM. His Funeral will be held SATURDAY at 10am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with 11am Mass at Holy Ghost Church.
