Louis Pavao Sr., age 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, surrounded by his family at the home in which he raised his five children. He was the husband of Irene (Santos) Pavao and the son of the late Luis and Silvana (Tavares) Pavao. He was the father of Louis Pavao Jr., Linda Botelho (John), Mark Pavao (Donna), Lisa Paskowski (Stephen) and Matthew Pavao (Lisa). He was the brother of the late Manuel Pavao and Alice deMendonca. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Each new generation brought even greater happiness to his life. His favorite moments, especially this past year, were spent with his family enjoying Sunday dinners. He was educated in the Fall River schools and enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served in the Korean Conflict. He worked for the former Atomic Fence Company for over 30 years and later was employed by Citizen's Union Savings Bank.
