Margaret Mary (Putnam) Duffy 88 of Fall River, MA and formerly of Kennebunk, ME, died on May 10th. She lived in Fall River until 1974, then moved to Maine and returned to this area in 2006. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Duffy. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Riley) and Edward P. Putnam. She was a 1941 Graduate of New Bedford High School and a Graduate of Boston University's College of Arts and Letters. She had been a Secretary at the Doran School in Fall River for several years. She was a member of St Mary's Parish when she resided in Fall River, the St. Mary's Women's Club and the Catholic Women's Club. She was also a member of the Holy Spirit Parish/St. Martha's in Kennebunk, ME. She is survived by a daughter Nancy D. Regan of Tiverton, RI and a son Timothy James Duffy of Tuscon, Arizona. She also leaves 2 grandaughters Kristen M. Regan and Mary K. Diboty, along with 2 grandsons Timothy Duffy Jr. and Ryan Duffy. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Kirkman and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation SUNDAY, May 13th from 3-6 PM. Her Funeral will be held MONDAY at 10am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with an 11am Mass at St. Marys Cathedral, May 14th.
