Maria Ludovina Saramago 84 of Fall River died on July 2, 2012. She was the wife of the late Manuel Duarte Saramago. Born in Venda Nova, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Ludovina (Maria) and Davide Antonio Marques. She had worked as a Machine operator at M & G Sportswear. She was a communicant of Espirito Santo Parish. She is survived by 2 daughters Isaura Ferreira of Swansea and Maria Anderson of New Hampshire, along with 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Barbara Maria Antunes of Portugal and was the sister of the late Antonio Davide Marques, Maria Elise Marques and Maximina Carreira. Her Funeral will be held on THURSDAY from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, River with a 11am Mass at Espirito Santo Church. Burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
