Emily (Medeiros) Xavier 79 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Louis F. Xavier with whom she had shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evageline (Viveiros) Medeiros. Survivors include her son Frank Xavier and his wife Kimberly (Branco), a daughter Lisa Xavier and her partner David Rebello. Granddaughters are Brie Xavier and Haylee Xavier. She was the sister of Mary Linhares, Louis, John and Joseph Medeiros. She also leaves a devoted sister (in law) Angie Martin. Mrs. Xavier was also the mother of the late Robert L. Xavier "X" and the sister of the late Angie, Manuel (Doc) and Antone Medeiros. She had retired form Lightolier. She was a member and recording secretary for IBEW Local 1499. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, camping and crafting. Visitation WEDNESDAY 5-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held THURSDAY at 9am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River with a 10am Mass at St Theresa's Church in Tiverton.
