Paul Mello 48 of Tiverton, passed away on July 7, 2012. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Rosemarie (Rodrigues) and John C. Mello. A Journeyman Pipefitter/Welder, he was employed by Matrix Power. He was a member of the National Wildlife Federation, the Harley Owner's Group, the Native American Rights Fund, the National Audubon Society, the Appalachian Trail Conservacy, National Geographic, the Rain Forest Conservacy, the National Trust Historic Preservation, the Smithsonian National Museum, the Sierra Club, the National Arbor Day Foundation and the Ocean Conservacy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son Arthur John "A.J." Mello, his beloved former wife Diane Mello, a sister Lynn Mello and a brother John Mello II. He also leaves nephews John J. Mello II, Matthew Mello, his godchild Audrey Lemos, nephew Jeffrey Mello, niece Kristina Mello and nephew Stephen Mello. Victoria, and Austin Mello are greatniece and greatnephew. Visitation THURSDAY from 6-9 PM at the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI. His Funeral will be held FRIDAY at 9am from the Funeral Home with a 10am Mass at St Madeleine Sophie Church. Cremation to follow. www.almeida-pocasset.com
