Manuel Miguel Barboza 98, aka "Mike", who lived in Tiverton, RI most of his life, passed away on Friday. He was the husband of the late Antoninia (Roias) Barboza. Born in Travessa dos Milagres, Arrifes, Sao Miguel, Acores, he was the son of the late Maria deJesus (Carvalho) and the late Manuel Miguel Barbosa. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a Laborer at the Boulevard Nurseries in Middletown, RI. He was a member of St. Theresa's Church in Tiverton. He is survived by a son Manuel M. Barboza of Tiverton and a daughter Mary L. Gasior of Somerset. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Joseph L. Barboza and brother of the late John M. Barbosa. Visitation TUESDAY 4-8 PM His Funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY at 9am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA with a 10am Mass at St Theresa's Church, Tiverton at 10am.
