Joao Jose Nunes Pereira 63 of Fall River passed away on Saturday, May 12th. Born in Sao Vincent, Madeira Island, he was the son of the late Maria Segunda deGouveia and the late Manuel Nunes Pereira. He had previously worked as a Painter in Textiles at Joan Fabrics. He is survived by his children Samuel Pereira, Gabriel Pereira, Michael Pereira and Christine Pereira. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Manuel Gouveia, Antonio Pereira, Jose Nunes along with 6 sisters Lena Gouveia, Bernadette Correia, Theresa Perera, Angelina Gouveia, Margarida Menezes, Leonarda Raposa and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 sisters. His Funeral Mass will be held on WEDNESDAY at 11am at Espirito Santo Church.
