Agostinho M. DeSa 85 of Westport, passed peacefully at home on July 12th, surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Catalina (Silva) DeSa to whom he would of been married to 57 years in September.
Born in Maia, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Conceicao Maria (Pimentel) and Daniel Moniz DeSa. He had worked in construction until his accident, then later returned to work in farming which was his first love. He was an avid Benefica Soccer Fan and had played volleyball. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Afonso DeSa (wife Eva) from Sequin, TX, Helena Brewer (husband Allen) from Westport, MA and Cathy Turcotte (husband Ron) of Dartmouth, MA.
Grandchildren are Joshua Brewer, Michael & Keith DeSa, along with Adam & Kyle Turcotte. He was the brother of the late Jose, Lourdes, Silvino. John, Afonso and Albert DeSa. Visitation FRIDAY 5-8 PM
His Funeral will be held SATURDAY at 9am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA with a 10am Mass at Good Shepherd Church. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
