Albert Couto 90 Fall River, formerly of Brayton Ave., died on Monday. He was the husband of the late
Mary (Nunes) Couto. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Constantina (Moniz) and Angelo Couto.
Prior to his retirement in 1979, he had worked as a Painter Foreman for the School Dept. with the City of Fall River for 27 years. He served as a Corporal with the US Army in Okinawa during WWII.
He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Health Parish until its closing and was currently a member of Espirito Santo Church. He was a member of the Portuguese Alliance, the Fall River Municipal Retirees
Assoc. and the A.P.U.M.E.C. of California. He is survived by a godson Daniel Oliveira of Fall River.
Visitation THURSDAY 5-7 PM. His Funeral will be held FRIDAY at 10am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON
