Alexander W. Bond, 88, of Tiverton, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at Crestwood Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Janice A. (Borges) Bond.  Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Alexander J. Bond and Margaret (Hallisey) Bond.

Mr. Bond was employed as Assistant Plant Manager of the Providence Gas Company for many years until his retirement.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, fishing and as a member of Tiverton Rod & Gun Club

He leaves his loving children: Scott M. Bond of Tiverton, Jeffery J. Bond & his wife Renee of Tiverton, and Stacey B. Duszlak & her husband Andrew of Weymouth, MA.  Cherished grandfather of James N. Bond, Brett L. Bond, Tristan A. Bond, Samantha S. Bond, Edward A. Duszlak, and Sarah R. Duszlak.  He was the brother of Margaret Gastall of Fall River and the late John Bond and Robert Bond.  He also leaves his two nephews, Timothy Gastall and Thomas Gastall.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a service to follow in POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Road, Tiverton, RI.  Burial will follow in Pocasset Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 will be appreciated.
