Alexandrina Cordeiro Borges

Alexandrina (Cordeiro) Borges 79 of 25 Denver Street, Fall River, Mass., and formerly Of 710 Third Street, Fall River, Mass., died on Thursday at Saint Annes Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Anibal Cabral Borges.

Born in Covoada, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Cordeiro and the late Constantina (Alves) Cordeiro. She had resided here since 1966.

She had worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for Bradley Scott for ten years And was also a Homemaker. She was a communicant of Santo Christo Parish.

She is survived by 2 daughters and 3 sons, Maria C. Ferreira of Fall River, Manuel Borges of Fall River, Joseph Borges of Fall River, Connie Cipriano of Dartmouth, Mass. and Anibal Cabral of Fall River. She also leaves a sister Serafina Cipriano of Fall River, 13 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren along with several Nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Cindy Borges and greatgrandmother of the late Caleb Borges. She was the sister of the late Manuel Cordeiro, Joseph Cordeiro, Everett Melo, Miguel Melo, Maria Medeiros and Ermina Simao.
