Alfred F. Almeida Sr., 80, of Fall River, Massachusetts, and Tiverton, Rhode Island, founder and C.E.O. of A.F. Almeida & Son Funeral Home of Fall River, Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home of Tiverton, and A-A Crematory of Tiverton, entered into rest at his summer home in Tiverton on the evening of Monday, August 18, 2003. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2003, 4-8 p.m., at A.F. Almeida & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1309 Globe Street, Fall River. Further visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 9 a.m., at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, 10 a.m., at Good Shepherd Church, South Main Street, Fall River. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
