Amadeu DeSousa 93 of Fall River, died on Monday. He was the husband of Arminda (Correia) DeSousa.
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he was the son of the late Beatrice (Gomes) and Albert DeSousa.
He had worked as a Threader for Quaker Fabric and was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish.
He is survived by a daughter Connie DeMelo and 3 sons Manuel DeSousa, Serafim DeSousa and Albert DeSousa along with 5 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. He also leaves a brother Jose DeSousa.
He was the brother of the late Serafim DeSousa.
Visitation TUESDAY from 5-8 PM. His Funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA with a 9am Mass at Good Shepherd Church. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com
