Amelia (Corais) Ribeiro 77 of Fall River, passed away suddenly May 10th after an unexpected illness.
She was the widow of Manuel A. Ribeiro. Born in Terras De Bouro, Amares, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Jose Dias and the late Rosa deJesus (Martins) Corias. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Presser at Crown Linen Services many years ago. She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish. She is survived by her daughters Maria Fatima Rodrigues of Fall River and Carla Sofia Ferreira of Dighton. She also leaves 5 grandchildren Sean Gabriel Rodrigues, Alisa Nicole Ferreira, Hope Renee Ferreira, Amanda Grace Ferreira and Zachary Stephen Ferreira. She also leaves a brother Antonio M. Dias of Fall River and a sister Alzira Ferreira of Amares, Portugal. Visitation MONDAY May 14th from 6-8:30 PM. Her Funeral will be held TUESDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St., Fall River MA with a 9am Mass at Good Shepherd Church. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
