Ana Nascimento (Furtado) Furtado 92 of Fall River died on Wednesday. She was the wife of the late Antonio F. Furtado. Born in Villa Ponta Garca, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Ana (Furtado) and Jose Calouro. She had worked as a Machine Operator/Folder at Carousel Curtain Manufacturing and Fall River Knitting Mills. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and had been a Eucharistic Minister at the former Our Lady of the Angels Church. She is survived by her children Mary Jo Rebello (Husband John), Angela Astin ( Husband Brian) and Leonard Furtado (Wife Lola). She was the mother of the late Manuel D. Furtado and Donna Donaltide, She also leaves grandchildren Robert Furtado, Elijah Rebello and Lysendra Riquinha, Sarah Rebello, Leanna Furtado, Lynn Furtado and she was the grandmother of the late Eric Astin. Great grandchildten are Ashley Furtado, Ethan Riquinha and Anabelle Rebello. She was the sister of the late Jose Calouro and Manuel Matos. Visitation FRIDAY form 6-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held SATURDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St., Fall River with a 9am Mass at Good Shepherd Church.
