Anthony Martin's Obituary
Anthony Martin Sr., 76 of N. Dartmouth, MA, passed away on Sept. 2nd. He was the husband of Eileen (Borges) Martin. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Mary L. (Costa) and Louis Martin Sr. He had served as a Private First Class in the U S Army. He was a sheet metal worker with Local 17 of Boston and had also worked for the Boilermakers in Ohio as a welder. Mr. Martin was a communicant of St. Theresa's Parish in Tiverton, RI. In addition to his wife, he leaves his children Anthony Martin Jr., Brenda Hildreth, Christine Karris and Timothy C. Martin. He also leaves 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, including Justin whom he enjoyed spending a lot of time with. He was the brother of the late Louis T. Martin and John Martin. His Funeral will be held on Thursday with a Service at 11:30am in the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River, MA. Burial to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 1:15pm. Visitation will be held prior to the Service from 10 to 11:30am.
