Anthony Edward Tavares 74 of Tiverton, RI passed away on Sunday. He was the husband of Judith Ann (Estrella) Tavares. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Antonio B. Tavares and Dora Jeanne (Angelini) Tavares. He had worked as a Supervisor at Haskom and he had also worked as a Social Worker prior to that. He was a Graduate of U Mass Dartmouth. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons Paul Anthony Tavares (Wife Amy), Steven Michael Tavares (Wife Stephanie) and Mark Edward Tavares (Wife Kim). Grandchildren are Camden Michael Tavares, Carrine Joirdjha Tavares, Riley Claire Tavares and Jaxon Anthony Tavares. He also leaves a brother Ralph Tavares along with 2 sisters Diane Tavares and Elizabeth Patricio. He had served in the US Air Force for 4 years.
Visitation WEDNESDAY from 5 to 8 PM. His Funeral will be held THURSDAY at 9am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with a 10am Mass at St Barnabas Church in Portsmouth.
