Correia. Born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Candida (Pacheco) Raposo and Manuel Correia Janeiro. Prior to his retirement he had worked as a Laborer in Construction. He was a member of Espirito Santo Parish. In addition to his wife, he leaves a son Anthony Correia of Taunton and was the father of the late Joseph Correia. He was the brother of Jose Correia of Cambridge, MA, Manuel Correia of Portugal, Maria Amelia Nordesto, Alfredo Correia, Olga Oliveira. Lucia Oliveira and Aurino Correia, all of Canada along with nieces and nephews. Visitation WEDNESDAY prior to funeral 8:30 to 10am at the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St Fall River, MA with a Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church at 10:30am.
