Barbara A (Scagnelli) Cordeiro of Tiverton, RI passed away peacefully unxexpectedly at home on Sunday.  She was the widow of Gabriel R. Cordeiro. Born in Framingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Angeline (Caracini) and Peter Pio Scagnelli.
A Homemaker for most of her lifetime, and she was a member of St. Theresa's Parish.
She is survived by a son Richard Cordeiro and his wife Cindy and a daughter Cerina C. Andrade and her husband Peter.  She also leaves her grandchildren Richard G. Cordeiro Jr., Peter G. Andrade, and Alexis C. Andrade. Arrangements are with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd., Tiverton.  http://www.almeida-pocasset.com  A Mass at St Theresa's Church will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3rd at 10am then  Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery for Gabriel and Barbara Cordeiro.
