Barbara (Opie) Correia 92 of Tiverton, RI passed away on Tuesday. She was the wife of Joseph J. Correia, for 70 years, whom she married during WWII. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Edith and Bennett Opie. A Homemaker, she was a member of Holy Ghost Church. She was a member of WRENS in London during the War with the English Navy. An avid dog and cat lover, she enjoyed the sea, flowers, crocheting, knitting and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she leaves 2 sons Richard Correia and Joseph Correia, along with 4 grandchildren Joseph Correia, Christy Brennan, Richard Correia and Jonathan Correia. She also leaves 2 greatgrandchildren Zachary and Kathryn Brennan. Visitation SATURDAY from 9 to 11am prior to the Service at 11am in the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI.
