Barbara "Balbina" A. (Roies) Medeiros. 98 of Tiverton, RI passed away on Sept. 24, 2017. She was the widow of Edward Medeiros. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Theresa (Souza) and John J. Roies. She had formerly worked as a zipper setter for Needlecraft. Barbara was a communicant of St. Theresa Parish. She is survived by 2 daughters Barbara Medeiros Reis and Theresa Medeiros Fernandes. She also leaves her grandchildren Frederick Reis, Susan Reis Renvyle, Sheryl Fernandes DeMello, Donald Reis, Marc E. Fernandes and Martin L. Fernandes. In addition she leaves 9 great grandchildren ( Garett, Callie, Brooke and Maxwell Marson Reis, Christopher, Alex and Stephen DeMello,Jaydais and Zendaya Fernandes) and a sister Laura Roies Levesque. Late siblings are Mary Roies Medeiros, Alice Roies Felix, Joanna Roies Medeiros, Beatrice Roies Sousa, Dennis Roies, Antone Roies and John Roies.
