Carlton Allen Mercer 71 of Tiverton, RI passed away on Friday. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called his golden heart to service, on a backhoe paving streets of gold.

He was the husband of Dorothy Ann (Furtado) Mercer to whom he was married to for 49 years. Born in Fall River, MA, he
was the son of the late Mabel (Little) and John Mercer. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church.

He had served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was a Heavy
Equipment Operator at Capaldi Construction and a member of Local 57.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters Kimberly Ainsworth (Husband Thomas) of Cape Coral, FL

and Kristen Kidd (Husband Brandon) of Portsmouth, RI. He also leaves a granddaughter Meredith Kidd and siblings Hope Hall,
Faith Peckham , Robert Mercer and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Althea Mansolillo , Ruth Ouilette, Lois, John, Beverly and Marilyn Mercer.

Visitation TUESDAY 5-8 PM. His Funeral will be held WEDNESDAY with a Service to commence at 10am in the POCASSET MEMORIAL
