Claire (Driscoll) Pearce 89 of Tiverton, RI passed away on May 17, 2016. She was the widow of Milton Wimer Pearce. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edith Annie (Bradley) and Timothy Patrick Driscoll. A Graduate of BMC Durfee High School, she had worked as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Rubin. She was a member of the Amicable Church and its former Social Club. She also belonged to the Newport County Women's Club.
She is survived by her children Virginia Pinckney (Dan) and Bradley Pearce. Grandchildren are Rachael Pearce Manning (Steve), and Timothy, Christopher & Thomas Pinckney. Great grandchildren are Lilah Pearce and Zachary Pearce. She was the great grandmother of the late Claire Elizabeth Manning.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 1st at the Amicable Church 3736 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home. www.almeida-pocasset.com for on line guestbook.
