His Funeral will be held on FRIDAY with a 10am Service in the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI. Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, RI. Mr. Greene loved flower gardening when he was able to do it and was an avid Patriot's Fan. He loved the 2 dogs he had in his life, Missy who predeceased him and Max a Rescue dog-they rescued each other and it was meant to be. People who didn't know Mr. Greene by name was known to many as the man that walked the Main Rd with the little white dog. Mr. Greene's favorite place to dine was McGovern's Restaurant in Fall River on Thursdays and Sundays (the management and staff were wonderful, kind and caring to him), especially a young waiter by the name of James Moreira, with whom a strong relationship developed to the point that it became a Grandfather-Grandson relationship. James was always there when Grandpa Cliff needed him. Mr. Greene loved flowers and he also loved his dogs so flowers or donations to Potter League for Animals PO BOX 412 Newport, RI 02840, where he has a plaque in memory of his dog Missy, would be a fitting memorial to him. www..almeida-pocasset.com
