David J. Rego 77 of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Saturday at home surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Theresa (Sousa) Rego.
Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Seraphin and Emily (Rego) Rego.  Prior to his retirement. he had worked as a Deputy small business associate in contracting with the Naval base.  He had served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.  David was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal church in Tiverton.  He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves 3 sons Jason Rego, Joshua Rego and David N. Rego, along with a stepdaughter Dawn Lopes.  In addition he leaves a grandson Peyton Rego.
A visitation will be held on Thursday Nov 14th at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI from   9 to  11am prior to a Service in the Funeral home at   11am.  Burial to follow at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Main Rd, Tiverton.  www.almeida-pocasset.com
