Delfina Pereira 71 of Fall River, died on Saturday. She was the wife of Gilberto S. Pereira to whom she was married to for 46 years. Born in Livramento, Ponta Delgaga, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Maria Inez (Cordeiro) and Jacinto Pereira Ferreira. She had worked as a Sewing Machine Operator in the Garment Industry. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Gilberto Pereira of Fall River. She also leaves her siblings Fernando Ferreira, Jacinto Ferreira, Belmida Candido, Odelia Ferreira, Virginia Ferreira and Maria Berenguer, along with nieces and nephews. Visitation MONDAY 5-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held on TUESDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River with a 9am Mass at Good Shepherd Church.
