Delfina (Peixoto) Resendes 63 of Fall River, MA passed away on Saturday. She was the wife of Rui Santos. Born in Povoacao, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Dos Anjos) and Manuel Peixoto. She had worked as a Sewing machine operator at Raptor Manufacturing and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. She also leaves 3 sons Robert Resendes, Kevin Resendes and Brian Resendes along with a grandaughter Lilliana Mae Resendes. In addition, she leaves her siblings Tomas Peixoto, Delia Medeiros, Jose Fernando Peixoto and Carminda Amaral, along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gil Vieira, Ursalina Machado and Fatima Amaral. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 am from the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St, Fall River with an 11 am Mass at Good Shepherd Church.
