Diamantino Miguel Meireles 71  of Fall River, MA passed away on July7th.  He was the husband of Helena (Rego) Meireles.  Born in St. Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel Ferreira Meireles and Ines Coracao DeJesus.  He had worked as a Laborer in Construction and was a member of Santo Christo Parish.  In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughters Sandra Letendre and Paula Meireles along with a son Nuno Meireles.  He also leaves 7 grandchildren,  His siblings are Manuel Meireles, Orlando Medeiros, Gizelia Viveiros and Lucia Rego.  Private Arrangements are with the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River, MA. www.almeida-pocasset.com for on line guest book.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 11am at Santo Christo Church.
