Dorothy Lecuyer's Obituary
Dorothy Lecuyer 96, formerly of Tiverton, RI passed away on September 7th. She was the widow of Edward Lecuyer. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Virginia (Souza) and Manuel Olival. Dorothy had worked as a sewing machine operator at Stella Ann for over 30 years prior to her retirement in 1986. She is survived by a daughter Jeanne Travers of Portsmouth, RI and a granddaughter Melissa Travers. She also leaves 3 great grandchildren, Josiah, Janiece and Jayla Travers along with several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the Kenny Travers and sister of the late Ida Mello, Avilo Olival and Edwin Olival.
A member of St Christophers's Parish, her interests were gardening, sewing, baking and vacationing with the family.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 am at St Christophers Church, Tiverton. Arrangements are with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI. Entombment at Notre Dame Mausoleum, Fall River.
