Eduardo Manuel Pereira 77 of Fall River, MA, passed away at home on July 23, 2023.  He was the husband of Olga S. (Soares) Pereira.  Born in Ponta Delgado, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Conceicao (Linhares) and Artur Pereira.  He came to the USA in 1971.
He had worked as a Carpenter for Pearson Yachts, then Freedom Yachts and retired after they closed.  He   was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish and Our Lady of Health prior to that..  He had served in the Portuguese Army.
In addition to his wife, he leaves 3 children Patricia Gamage, Michelle Kupiec (Scott)  and Roy Pereira Sr. (Priscilla) along with 5 grandchildren  Bianca, Starr, Madison, Payton and Roy (RJ). Great grandchildren are Aubree and Bentley.  He also leaves several nieces and nephews.  Siblings are Jose Pereira, Luis Pereira and Fernanda Gouveia.  Late siblings are Zelia Oliveira, Ema Melo, Artur Pereira and Joao Pereira .Visitation will be held on  Friday, July 28th prior to the Funeral from 7:30 to 9:30   am.  His Funeral Mass will be held at  10 am  at Holy Trinity Church on Stafford Rd with Entombment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com
