Edward Cabral, 65, of Fall River, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 29, 2018.  Born in Sao Miguel, he was a son of Gelcia (Vasconcelos) Cabral & the late John Cabral.

Mr. Cabral was a postal worker with the U.S. Postal Service for many years until his retirement.  He was a Communicant of Espirito Santo Church.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his loving son, Edward Cabral, Jr. & his wife Melissa of Fall River, his cherished granddaughters: Leiah A. Cabral & Lily G. Cabral, His siblings: George Cabral & his wife Manuela and Mary Mercer.  His God-Son & nephew, George Cabral Jr. & his wife Adelia, his niece, Melisa D'Amico & her husband Keith& grand-nephews: Owen A. Cabral & Max Montgomery.

His Funeral will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 8:45 am from A.F. ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1309 Globe Street, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden St., Fall River.  Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Relatives & friends are invited & may call on Sunday from 3-5pm at the funeral home.
