Eileen (DeMoura) Oliveira, 79, of 164 Furey Ave., Tiverton, formrly of Fall River, MA died on Feb 18th, 2017 at Heatherwood Nursing & Subacute Nursing Home. Newport, RI after a long batlle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Somerset. MA on July 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late August and Lena (Camara) DeMoura of Somerset, MA. Eileen is predeceased by her loving husband, John Oliveira (Dec. 24, 2004) and her sister Sheila (DeMoura) Nascimento of Swansea, MA. Mrs. Oliveira was raised in Somerset, MA. She had worked for Bank of New England as a Banking Customer Service Manager. Eileen enjoyed camping, traveling, floral arrangements and long walks. She was a loving mother of eight children, She is survived by four sons Mark Oliveira of FL,
Bruce Oliveira of Red Lodge, MT, Glenn Oliveira of Rehoboth, MA and Jeffrey Oliveira of Tiverton, RI; four daughters, Deborah Olson of Gloucester, MA, Dawn Oliveira and Karin Medeiros-Luther of Bristol, RI, and Meslissa Fraze of Columbus, MT; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Eileen is survived by 2 brothers, Robert and Francis DeMoura of Somerset, MA.
A Catholic service in will be held in Tiverton, RI at St. Theresa Church 265 Stafford Rd, at 10am on Thursday. Burial service at Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
