Eleanor Gertrude (Couture) Munroe 87 of Bulgarmarsh Rd, Tiverton died on Saturday, Oct. 8th. She was the wife of the late Jonathan Bush Munroe. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Lena (Burns)
and Alfred Couture. She was a dedicated Homemaker and Nursemaid for many family members over her lifetime and was a compassionate friend to many. She was a member of St. Christopher's Parish.
She was the mother of the late John R. Munroe, formerly of Swansea. She is survived by her children;
Robert A. Munroe of Fall River, Thomas A. Munroe of Dutton, VA, Michael Munroe of Tiverton, Leonard Munroe of Tiverton, James Munroe of Bristol, RI and Eileen Munroe of Fall River. She also leaves 16 grandchildren, several foster /step grandchildren, many greatgrandchildren and several greatgreatgrandchildren. She also leaves a sister Kathleen Campos of Fall River, a brother Alfred Couture of Somerset and was predeceased by siblings Mary Marino, Anne Munroe, Lorette Burke and Irene Pevide.
Visitation WEDNESDAY 4 - 8 PM. Her Funeral will be held on THURSDAY at 9am from the POCASSET
