Ella J. (Lane) Sullivan 88 of Tiverton passed away on Monday, March 14th at home. She was the widow of Michael J. Sullivan Jr. to whom she was married to for 47 years. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Lottie (Clark) and Everett Lane Sr. She had been the Co-owner of the former Midway Restaurant and had also worked at the Electric Light Company and as a Bookkeeper for the family businesses for many years.
She was the loving, caring mother of Donna J. Dupont, Linda M. Ferreira (Husband Bob), Janet M. Branco and the late David M. Sullivan.
She was the devoted grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 5. She was the beloved sister of Maureen True & Rev. Elizabeth L. Nelson
and the late Everett "Buddy" Lane. Ella enjoyed cooking and holiday celebrations with her family. Family was the most important thing to her. The family would like to thank the Southcoast VNA for the tender loving care they provided. Visitation Wednesday 3/16 from 5-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held Thursday 3/17 at 10:30 am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with an 11:30 am Mass at St. Theresa Church.
