Elvira P. Sousa 84 of Fall River, MA passed away on December 6th.  She was the widow of Jeremias R. Sousa.  Born in Pedreira de Nordeste, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Maria da Conceicao (Pacheco) and Rodrigo Feijo. A communicant, parishioner and avid volunteer of the Good Shepherd Parish, and a homemaker for most of her lifetime. Elvira is survived by 3 children Lubelia DeSousa (spouse, Jaime) of Fall River, Edward Sousa (spouse, Natalie) of Dartmouth, and Fernando Sousa (spouse, Ivette) of Toronto, Canada, 5 grandchildren Cristina DeSousa (significant other, Paulo), Filipe Sousa (significant other, Nicole),  Andrew Sousa (spouse, Jenna), Joshua Sousa, Jonathan Sousa, and 1 great grandchild, Logan DeSousa. She also leaves 3 brothers Marcelino Feijo, Daniel Feijo and Norberto Feijo, along with several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by 5 other siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec 9th  from 4 to 7 PM.  Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec 10th at 9am from the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St Fall River, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am Good Shepherd Church.  Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com for online guest book.
