Ernest Pimentel 89 yrs old from Fall River passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 21, 2017 after a short illness. Born in New Bedford, MA he was the husband of Alice Pimentel to whom he was married to for 70 years. He worked as a sandblaster for many years at General Dynamics, Quincy, MA. Upon retiring, he worked part time at Horner Millwork in Swansea, MA. He was the son of the late Mariano Pimentel and Maria Correia Pimentel & brother of the late Hazel Amaral, Amelia Camboia and Jose Pimentel. He leaves 2 sons Augustine (Augie) and Ernest (Ernie) and 1 daughter Elizabeth Pimentel-Dourado. He was the grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 11 and the great greatgrandfather 2 and another on on the way. Ernest was a prankster and was always making people laugh, sometimes at the most inopportune time. He was always happy and full of life. Visitation Sunday from 5-8 PM. His Funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St, Fall River with a 10am Mass at Good Shepherd Church.
