Florence M. (Duquette) Odynecky Galuska 93, formerly of Tiverton, RI passed away on Sept. 20th. She was the widow of Frank Galuska and John Odynecky. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Emma (Carpentier) and Arthur Duquette. She was a communicant of Holy Ghost Parish. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a sewing machine operator for Lynn Sportswear.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne's Society, the Westport Bowlaway league, St. Stan's Seniors and the North Tiverton Senior Citizen Club (No. Tiverton Fire Barn. A professional singer during WWII, she loved singing and playing piano in her younger years, playing cards and spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 daughters Patricia Odynecky Pasternak (husband Thomas) Carol Odynecky Boulay (husband Robert) and 3 grandchildren Michael Pasternak, Lara Donovan, and Beth Farias. She also leaves 4 great grandchildren Max Pasternak, Ava Pasternak, Luke Farias and Hayley Farias. She also leaves a brother Herman Duquette. She was the sister of the late Omer Duquette and Joseph Duquette.
Visitation Friday from 5-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with a 10am Mass at Holy Ghost Church.
