Francis Joseph Moniz 76, of Tiverton died on Saturday. He was the husband of Maria (Stern) Moniz to whom he was married to for 56 years. Born in Tiverton, where he was a lifelong resident, he was the son
of the late Phoebe (Almeida) and Manuel Moniz. He had worked as a Maintenance Man for Frito Lay
for 20 years and at Metacom Manor, also in maintenance. He had served in the US Army and as a Korean War veteran. He was a member of St. Christopher's Parish. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister Alice Higgins and several nephews. He was the brother of the late Emily Quartohe, Manuel Moniz,
