Frank Delbert Lawton Iii's Obituary
Frank Delbert Lawton III 94, of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Saturday Dec 15th. He was the husband of the late Charlotte Mary (Thomas) Lawton. Born in Stratford, CT, he was the son of the late Vira Ada (Milspaugh) and Frank D. Lawton. Prior to his retirement, he was co-owner with his late wife of the Dadson Mobile Estates built in 1959. He had served as a Senior Chief Gunner's Mate with the US Navy for 30 years and was a member of the Fleet Reserve. He served in the Korean War, WWII and Vietnam. He was a member of the Good Sam Club for RV's and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots assoc. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church. He is survived by a son Frank Dennis Lawton along with 3 grandchildren David R. Lawton and Melanie F. Lawton along with Alexander R. Lawton. Siblings were the late Katherine A. Lawton, Ruth Blackman and Francis Braughn. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Visitation THURSDAY from 6 to 8 PM. His Funeral will be held on FRIDAY with a Service at 10am.in the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI. Burial at Hillside Cemetery, Tiverton with Military Honors.
