ROGERS, Gary, 50, of Tiverton, died peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Susan J. (Furtado) Rogers. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Frank Rogers & Carol A. (Kershaw) Heap.

Mr. Rogers was a graduate of Tiverton High School and John & Wales School of Culinary Arts. He worked as a chef at various restaurants. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm in Iraq.

Besides his wife, he leaves his loving daughter, Samantha L. Rogers of Fall River and his grandson, Logan J. Souza of Fall River. He was the son-in-law of Marjorie Furtado Shea of Tiverton and the brother of David Gariepy of Fall River.

His Funeral Will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 at 9:00 am from THE POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Rd. Tiverton with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Christopher's Church, 1554 Main Rd., Tiverton. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
