Genevieve (Rogers) Beirola 88, formerly of Tiverton, died on Saturday. She was the wife of the late Manuel S. Beirola. Born in New Bedford, MA she was the daughter of the late Isabel Sears (Bettencourt) and Matthew F. Rogers. Prior to retiring in 1989, she had worked as an Examiner at Bristol Knitting. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church and AARP. She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter Lawrence Beirola, Ed Beirola and Missy Correira. She also leaves a brother Richard Rogers, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many niece and nephews. She was the mother of the late Stephen Beirola and sister of the late Elsie Alves, Stephen, Edmund and Francis Rogers. Visitation TUESDAY from 4-8 PM at the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with a Service at 7:30 PM in the Funeral Home.
