George Francis Kennedy 85 of Tiverton died on September 1. He was the husband of the late Doris (Gagnier) Kennedy. He wintered in Port Lucie, Florida. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late
Lillian M. (Lord) and George J. Kennedy. He had worked as the Parts Manager at Ashley Ford in New Bedford, MA and also worked at Garten Ford in Fall River He had served in the US Navy and was a Member of the V.F.W. Post 5392 in Tiverton. He was also a member of the Montaup Country Club. He is survived by a sister Dorothy Tommer of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He also leaves a Dear Friend Joan McHugh. He was the brother of the late William F. Kennedy. Visitation TUESDAY 5-7 PM. His Funeral will be held WEDNESDAYat 9 am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 MainRoad, Tiverton with a Mass at 10am at Holy Ghost Church where he was a communicant.
