George Medeiros 91, formerly of Russell Dr., Tiverton, RI died on Thursday. He was the husband of Genevieve (Mattos) Medeiros
since 1947. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Maria (Correia) and Manuel Medeiros. Prior to his retirement in 1986, he was a Construction Worker for Massachusetts Laborers - Local 610. He was formerly a member of the Fall River Boys Club, Senior Division. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Thomas G. Medeiros (wife Pamela) of Fall River and a daughter Elaine M.Key (husband Gary) of Tiverton. He also leaves a grandchild Jovina Marie Key of Tiverton and several cousins.
Visitation TUESDAY 4 - 7 PM. His Funeral will be held WEDNESDAY with a Service in the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI at 10am. Arrival time should be 9:30am. Burial at Pocasset Hill Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset for online guestbook.
