George Edward Robinson, Jr. of Westford, MA, age 74, died peacefully at home on March 1st, 2017 after a long illness. He was born in Fall River, MA on December 19, 1942 and resided in Fall River, until 1999. George was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ada (Broughton) Robinson. George was a teacher at James Madison Morton Middle School, retiring after 37 years. He was a graduate of Boston University. George was a talented piano player and singer and performed part-time professionally for a number of years. He is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Robinson Courtemanche and her husband Henry Jarrod Courtemanche and five grandchildren, Jared, Maxwell, Trey, Cory and Caya Hansen, all of Westford, and one son, George Edward Robinson III and his wife Sheryl Robinson of Somerset, MA. Son of the late Dr. George Edward Robinson and Pauline Emma (Gier) Robinson. No calling hours. Arrangements are private and burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. George loved animals and the family pets Phoebe, Tulip and Ida brought him great comfort during his illness; in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lowell Humane Society lowellhumanesociety.org in George's name.
