Georgianna Teves' Obituary
Georgianna "Midge" (Travis) Teves, 92, of Fall River, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was the wife of the late Edward M. Teves. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John C. Travis & Minnie (Barboza) Travis.
Mrs. Teves was the owner of Furniture Village in Somerset for many years until her retirement. She was a Communicant of St. Stanislaus Parish and member of the Holy Rosary Sodality.
She leaves her two loving children: Jeff Teves (Nancy) of Swansea & Jennifer A. Teves of Fall River. She was the cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Teves Michael (Scott) of Tiverton. She was the sister of the late Norma Medeiros & Genevieve Carroll. She also leaves many nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Stanislaus Church, 36 Rockland St., Fall River. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Michael's Fund, 966 Walnut St. Fall River, MA 02720 will be appreciated.
