Gil DeLima 85 of Fall River, MA passed away on April 16th.  He was the husband of Maria (Cabral) DeLima.  Born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, he was the son of the late Maria (Barbosa) and Gil DeLima.  He had served as a Corporal in the Portuguese Army.  A Carpenter by trade he was an avid Benefica Fan.  He is also survived by his children Floriano Lima (Beverly), Margaret M. Sousa (Richard), N aomi Melo, Cidalia DeMelo (David) and Gil DeLima Jr. (Fiance Michelle Thomas).  He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.  He was the grandfather of the late Michael Lima and brother of the late John DeLima and Maria Oliveira.  In addition he leaves many cherished nieces and nephews.  A Walk Through Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.  His Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9am from the
