Gilda Anna (Rapoza) Rogers 93 of Fall River, MA and formerly of Barrett St., died on Saturday. She was the wife of the late George William Rogers. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Cordeiro) and Francisco Rapoza. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as Presser in Quality Control at the former Shelburne Shirt. She is survived by a son George Rogers II and a stepdaughter Peggy Hampel. She also leaves a nephew Ronnie Cabral and 2 great nephews Ronald and Robert Cabral.
Visitation TUESDAY 6-8PM. Her Funeral will be WEDNESDAY at 9am at the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St., Fall River with a Service to commence at 10am. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com
