Gladys (Jones) Rezendes 67, of Tiverton, passed away Wednesday.  Born in Fall River, MA, she

was the daughter of the late Beatrice Novak (Wilkie) and John Jones.  She had worked as an Activities

Director at the Nancy Brayton Osborn Adult Day Care in Little Compton.  In 2004, she was the recipient

of The Adult Day Care Center Worker of the Year Award from the RI Department of Human Services.

She had also worked at various nursing homes in Fall River and had  worked in Home Health Care.  She was a person with a huge heart who took care of many people.

She is survived by a daughter Denise Jones Braz, a grandson Cody Braz, a grandaughter Corey Braz and a great grandchild Rylen Cash James.  She also leaves 2 brothers Ernest Jones (Wife Peggy), William Jones (Wife Robin) and a sister Barbara Jones Byron.  In addition, she leaves 2 dear nieces Jessica Jones and Amanda Jones, along with several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late John Jones Jr.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, good friends, working in her yard gardening, going to yard sales and searching for antiques.

Visitation  SUNDAY 4-6 PM.  Her Funeral will be held on  MONDAY at 9am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton with a  Service at 10 am in the Acoxet Chapel, Westport. Burial at Pleasant View Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com for online guestbook.
