Gordon Boraks

Died on August 8, 2015, at age 72.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Jeanne H. (Willard) Boraks of Tiverton, RI. Beloved father of Laura Bianchi and her husband William of Pittsburgh, PA, Lisa Felipe and her husband Sidnei of East Freetown, MA and Steven Boraks of Waltham, MA. Devoted Grampa to Mateus, Marcos and Samuel. Youngest son of the late Samuel and Alice (McLaughlin) Boraks and step-son of the late Elsie (Schlesinger) Boraks. Brother of Barry Borak and his wife Uschi of Alicante, Spain, the late Joan Mazmazian and her husband Arshag of Brookline, Nancy Boraks of Midlothian, VA, step-brother of Lois MacDonald and her husband Robert of Ormond Beach, FL, Phyllis Savage and her husband Jay of Hull, MA, the late Peter McGowan, Karen Daniel and her husband John of Ormond, FL, and brother-in-law of Dianne (Willard) Trask and her late husband Charles formerly of Stonington, CT, and Carole (Willard) Clark and her husband John of Garberville, CA, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Formerly of Mission Hill, Roxbury, Gordon thoroughly enjoyed his retirement in Tiverton, RI, where he found his paradise. He was a lifetime member of Carpenters Union Local 40 of Cambridge, and also a musician and a sailor. His wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Gordon's life will be planned in the coming months.
